Project Type: Hotel Grand Opening Celebration
On June 26th, the Legacy Property Group of Atlanta celebrated the grand opening of its newest Atlanta area property - The Doubletree Atlanta/ NE Northlake.
The event was appropriately themed “Immerse”, as it invited the local community, corporate and social planners, as well as local dignitaries to be totally immersed in the property’s atmosphere and legendary Doubletree hospitality.
The warm and welcoming space at Doubletree Northlake is infused with the images and hues of nature. This inspired our team to bring ”Immerse” to life through event décor and entertainment indicative of the elements of earth, air, fire and water.
At the entrance, guests were mesmerized by the “Living Doubletree” that welcomed them to the event. Inside the ballroom, a four-sided, illuminated bar surrounded a tall tree sculpture which visually reinforced the brand in an earthy yet contemporary way. The modern, soulful sounds of Saxophonic created the perfect vibe for networking. Exotic, living décor took the form of earth, air, fire & water. These magical creatures delighted guests as they brought the room to life. Poolside, a lithe acrobat highlighted the waterfall feature and beckoned guests to mingle outside. Guests were also invited to taste and explore Marlow’s Tavern – a delicious addition to the Doubletree Property. Hint: Check out the rooftop bar!
This refreshing after-work event convinced planners and guests to come back for both business and pleasure. Everyone in attendance raved about the hotel design, the impressive suites and Marlow’s crave inducing cuisine. And Destination South got a few raves too. Here’s what our client had to say:
